PMC Specialist Recruitment Solutions is assisting a reputable North York based EDI Software vendor looking to hire a Channel Account Manager for a full-time position.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the role of Channel Account Manager will be responsible for sales activities within a specified territory and achieving an annual quota revenue target. The role will include managing reseller relationships, as well as, managing the sale of software, licenses, services and training to both resellers and end users within a fast-paced, technical work environment.


Role Description/Duties:

Below is a list of major tasks, duties and responsibilities the Technical Delivery Manager is expected to perform.

  • Perform lead identification, planning, account qualification and management activities within assigned territory to meet/exceed annual quota
  • Up-sell to existing customers and penetrate competitive accounts
  • Maintain a high level of outbound activity to ensure adequate sales pipeline development to achieve quota
  • Develop account plans/territory plans with the purpose of generating revenue from targeted accounts/territory
  • Qualify and understand end user requirements and participate in the qualification process with company’s Solutions representatives as needed
  • Work closely with the Technical Services and Development teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Deliver product information and qualify, organize and schedule web-based demos to prospective new resellers or end users
  • Coordinate with company’s Solutions team to conduct software demos based on end user requirements
  • Update and maintain account information in company databases (CRM)
  • Actively identify revenue opportunities by communicating regularly to Channel Partners and existing client base
  • Produce regular sales reports and other ad hoc reports within agreed timely deadlines


Qualifications for Channel Account Manager Role:

  • Significant hands on ability with computer applications
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently



  • Educational backgrounds include University/College degree in a relevant field, preferably related to engineering & computer science o Preference for formal Sales training (Sandler, Richardson etc…)
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in a sales role, preferably with an ERP or computer software vendor (ideally EDI or WMS systems)
  • Experience in selling consulting and training services
  • Experience in creating and managing a sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of EDI and/or Warehouse workflows preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Power Point)
