PMC has exclusively partnered up with The Syscomm Group, who is looking to hire on a full-time, permanent Business Development Representative. Our client is an MSP with offices in Mississauga, Waterloo and Oakville. They offer a variety of services including; network security, cloud solutions and managed IT.


We are looking for Business Development Representative with at least 2 years of sales experience in the Managed IT sector. Ideal candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Attracting new business through activities such as cold-calling, networking and meeting with potential clients organizing sales visits clarifying customers’ and clients’ requirements
  • Recommending the appropriate products negotiating contracts undertaking relevant research
  • Maintaining sales records giving demonstrations making and giving presentations
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings preparing tenders and proposals
  • Reviewing sales performance writing reports and sales literature.
  • Strong technical and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to meet high standards in programming aptitude tests
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet sales quotas
  • Minimum 2 years of Technology Equipment Sales/Services/Software related sales management experience
  • Experience with an MSP is required, ideally 5 years of experience
  • Creativity and a high energy level proven track record of sales success, along with strong training & coaching skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Well developed organizational, sales leadership and strategic planning skills
