Shift: Continental Rotating

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

This position requires the individual to perform a variety of operations to maintain CNC machines, and oversee the maintenance of the facility as a whole.

  • Maintain and service CNC equipment and perform general machine repairs
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Perform facility repairs and general maintenance
  • Small fabrication and welding
  • Participate in the fluid management program
  • Liaise with outside service providers/contractors as required
  • Control maintenance tools, stores, equipment
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs
  • Understand and maintain 5S of all maintenance related areas
  • Understand and enforce the health and safety act and regulations – LOTO, machine guarding
  • Ability to work Afternoon and flexible shifts

 

Required Skills:

  • A certificate of qualification in an electrical or mechanical trade
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork within the group and across the organization
  • Knowledge of health and safety act and regulations

 

Required Experience & Education:

  • 3-5 years of experience maintaining CNC machines
  • A certificate of qualification in an electrical or mechanical trade
  • Certified Millwright preferred.
