HVAC Service and Maintenance Sales Representative

 

 

OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a well known HVAC manufacturer with a global presence that provides the highest quality products on the market. With their continued growth and success, they are looking to add an experienced, dynamic and customer focused Service & Maintenance Sales Representative with a strong technical background to join their team. They have several locations for your consideration including the Greater Toronto Area (downtown), Kitchener-Waterloo and London, Ontario area.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promoting and selling Commercial Service Solutions and Building Automation System solutions through repair, modernization, and replacement “turnkey” projects
  • Building solid business relationships directly with existing and new customers such as building owners, multi-facility owners/managers, corporate clients and property management organizations
  • Supporting the business growth initiatives of branch operations and management/corporate plans
  • Partnering with the owners or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of service offerings
  • Anticipating and effectively identifying Mechanical and controls system-operational enhancements in an effort to promote sales solutions
  • Providing dedicated customer service with a focus on new customers and customer retention

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Engineering/CET is considered an asset
  • Building automation experience and Project Management experience
  • SalesForce or other CRM experience is considered an asset
  • Technical experience with Unitary HVAC systems
  • At least 10 years of technical HVAC service Sales experience
  • Strong Building Automation Systems knowledge and background
  • LEEDS Certification is considered an asset along with working knowledge of the application of Utility rebate programs
  • Ability to identify, qualify, present and sell appropriate HVAC/BAS solutions to the tender and ‘direct-to-owner’ selling Channels
  • Proven professional sales and leadership skills

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills combined with common sense
  • Effective cold calling sales skills
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Computer literate and proficient with MS Office products
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Effective at building relationships with internal and external customers
  • Customer focused with proven problem solving capabilities
  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity, high ethical standards and quality in business
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
