Our client, a Professional Services Firm with a strong technical Security-focused team is looking for a Solution Engineer to join their team and assist on the Managed Services front, their worldwide client base.

The Solution Engineer will primarily act as the escalation point for network/security related incidents and service requests. There is a strong emphasis on customer support/customer-focus while handling multiple incoming tickets/phone calls.

Engaging the customer, you will learn to understand more about their environment, in turn, being able to respond to incidents in a short timespan.

The Solution Engineer will continue to learn and refine their technical expertise through various means. Customer Service excellence is at the forefront of this role.



  • Implement and provide various network and security solutions (routers, switches, wireless, Cisco ASA, Umbrella, etc.)
  • Monitor and diagnose complex network and security related issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software related issues
  • Recommend preventative corrective action plans
  • Proactively identify solutions to potential network issues and strengthen security.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Provide Level 3 Support on tickets and/or other issues escalated within the Managed Services group
  • Assist the sales team through the preparation and delivery of technical presentations by matching specific client business requirements with effective technical solutions



  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in network/security administration in a professional managed services environment
  • Great understanding and knowledge of network and network security protocols
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients
  • CCNA Routing and Switching a must
  • CCNP R&S, CCNA Security or Security+ is preferred, but not required
