Level 2 IT Technician (Mac Servers)- Managed Services

PMC has partnered up with a reputable Managed Service Provider located in North York who is looking to hire on a Level 2 IT Technician to support their client’s Cisco Meraki cloud managed networks and mixed computing environments including Apple macOS servers, macOS workstations/laptops, Windows Servers, Windows workstations and mobile devices (iPhone and iPad).

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be in charge for providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • You will monitor tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out and priority basis
  • You are installing, testing and configuring workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • You will support Apple macOS, iOS and Windows and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • You will be in charge of Microsoft Server 2016 Active Directory administration
  • You shall perform add/change/delete requests for network access and applications
  • You will be required to travel to client offices in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in an IT support and administration role in a Managed Service Provider
  • Microsoft MTA or MCSA certifications or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Server 2012 or Server 2016
  • Deployment, management & support
  • Active Directory configuration and maintenance (including GPO)
  • Apple ACSP (Preferred)
  • Cisco (Preferred)
  • Valid drivers license
  • Valid passport
  • Previous role as Apple Genius
  • Know and have used Zendesk, Autotask PSA or ConnectWise PSA
  • Know and have used Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) tool
  • Cisco Meraki MX routers, MS switches & MR wireless configuration, management & support
