Our client, is well-established in the field of Engineering Consultancy and is currently interested in providing an opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their company’s Tenant Group which specializes in the design of Mechanical fit out / retrofit projects and Mechanical system upgrade projects for the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Health Care, Institutional, Industrial and Hospitality sectors.


We are interested in engaging a Mechanical Project Manager specializing in building systems design whose responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following areas of expertise:

  • 5-10 years of design expertise in Mechanical Tenant / Retrofit and Mechanical system upgrade projects including but not dedicated to air handling systems, plumbing, and drainage systems plus knowledge of associated systems
  • Experience working as a Prime Consultant, coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and other Consultant teams
  • Preparation of Tender packages with Instruction to Bidders / Bid forms
  • Leading Bidders Meetings
  • Carrying out Bid Reviews and providing recommendations
  • Preparation of CCDC documents
  • Preparation of Certification of Payments, Holdback Release, Change Orders and Permit Applications
  • Experience in mentoring and/or leading a team of Designers / CAD teams
  • P.Eng. Designation preferred
  • LEED designation (AP or GA)
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills in reading, writing and speaking
  • Work within a team environment, contribute to and share ideas and solutions
