Location: Downtown Toronto, Remote to start

Our client, located in downtown Toronto, is looking to hire a Manager of Human Resources to join their team on a permanent basis. This will be a remote role to start.

This Role Will:

•Provide Human Resource solution support, process knowledge advice and consultation to the executive team

•Be responsible for recruitment and hiring for vacant roles, this includes reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, through to preparing offers and reference checks

•Support the onboarding of new employees

•Work with a corporate trainer to identify areas of training and development for all staff

•Work with an executive team and managers to organize and conduct performance reviews

•Coach management team on leadership and Human Resource issues including application of Human Resource policies, processes, restricting, complex employee issues

•Identify, coordinate, and implement Human Resource continuous improvement projects


•Over 8 years of experience in Human Resources, over 3 years in Management

•CHRL or CHRP designation

•Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent

•Knowledge in work place safety, employment, human rights laws and HR best practices

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
